Steve Klingerman saw something that needed fixing. As he surveyed the remodeling contractor landscape, he saw too many people who got themselves a hammer and a pickup truck and decided to call themselves "contractors." And all too often these people over committed, took shortcuts, and didn't finish the job right either because they wanted to get on to the next project or they simply didn't know what they were doing.

Steve wanted to fix that.
